MONROE - Christine Luchi, a SeaMaster Cruises franchise owner in Monroe, is changing the name of her business from SeaMaster Cruises to Cruise Holidays. Earlier this year, SeaMaster Cruises merged with its sister company Cruise Holidays - North America's oldest and most successful cruise-only retailer, which Luchi now has the backing of.

Cruise Holidays also will continue to operate storefront cruise-only cruise specialty operations in cities across the United States and Canada.

Luchi also announced her Web site soon will be redesigned.

"While I'm proud of what I've accomplished as a SeaMaster Cruises franchisee, my new company name carries even more industry clout and credibility in the cruise marketplace, translating to better value with the same personal touch for my clients," Luchi said.

Cruise Holidays and SeaMaster Cruises are two of Travel Leaders Group's wholly-owned and franchised leisure-focused brands. In total, Travel Leaders Group's wholly-owned and franchised sales of over $7.3 billion in 2008 ranks as the eighth largest travel company in the United States, making Cruise Holidays a powerhouse in the travel industry.

Luchi specializes in group cruises and also works with customers wishing to take land tours or to vacation at all inclusive resorts.
