MONROE - Where can you go to taste and enjoy the artistic endeavors of area chefs with an exquisite array of savory hor d'oeuvres, entrees, and delectable desserts? Or sample some of the finest cheese in the world and award-winning beer and wine, all while enjoying good conversation and the company of friends? And what about live music, a silent auction, and a live auction? It can all be found from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, May 5, at Ludlow Mansion, for the Monroe Arts Center's 2008 A Taste of Spring! Arts In Bloom is the theme for the 2008 Taste of Spring.
A varied selection of items for the silent auction will be available to bid on during the course of the evening. Live auction items will include both two and three-dimensional artwork created by some of Wisconsin's most talented artists. Specialty dinner packages, on which everyone always wants to bid, will also be put on the live auction block.
