MONROE - Monroe Preschool will host an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, at 1025 15th Ave., behind Grace Lutheran Church.
It is for all parents interested in enrolling their children from ages 2 1/2 to 4 years. The preschool offers a two day or a four day program and classes are held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. All children must be 2 1/2 by Sept. 1 to qualify for enrollment. Rebecca Tschanz is the lead preschool teacher.
The Preschool also offers a 4K program for students who will be age 4 by Sept. 1.
There is early drop off care available beginning at 7:45 a.m. on Monday-Thursday .
A fundraising event is planned for 5 to 10 p.m. Monday, April 12, at Culver's in Monroe.
Culver's will donate 10 percent of the evenings sales towards the preschool.
They will have crafts for the kids and Scoopie (their mascot) will be there.
Preschool children's families will be helping out with serving customers.
