MONROE - The Monroe High School is hosting an eighth-grade open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28 at the high school.

All current eighth-graders and their families are invited to attend. The intent of the evening is to welcome eighth-grade students and their families and to answer questions about what Monroe High School has to offer.

Principal Rick Waski will be in the Performing Arts Center at 5 p.m. to explain the Aligned by Design curricular model.

Because this is an open house, families are encouraged to walk about the building and talk with teachers and see their classrooms. Families can also stop at Student Services and get their questions answered about registration and can visit Special Education for answers on IEPs.

In addition, two sessions will be held regarding post-secondary education. A letter explaining the details of the open house and a copy of the brochure have been mailed to parents. For more information, call the high school at (608) 328-7123 or 328-7258.
