The partnership of the Sesquicentennial Cultural Coalition and the Business Improvement District has provided this opportunity for area two-dimensional artists to have their work transformed into banners to display around Monroe's Historic Square. The actual banner created will be 30 by 60 inches. Artists are asked to present their work using a 6 1/4 inch by 16 1/4 inch template. Templates are currently available downtown Monroe at the Public Library, Wing'N Pond Gallery, Monroe Arts Center or the Main Street office located in the Wisconsin Community Bank. An electronic template is also available by clicking on the Main Street icon at themonroetimes.com or by e-mailing monroemainstreet@tds.net.
