TOWN OF CADIZ — The Monroe High School Behavioral Health LAUNCH strand is hosting a 5K run/walk and kids fun run for the community to benefit the mental and physical health of local community members.
The event will be held Saturday, May 11 at Cadiz Springs State Park, N2241 Cadiz Springs Road, Browntown. The kids fun run will start at 8 a.m. and the 5K run/walk will start at 8:30 a.m.
There is a $10 race fee and $5 parking fee, however, parking is free with a state park pass. Kids 10 and under are free to run.
Proceeds from the event will go to Green Haven Family Advocates and a scholarship for an MHS senior pursuing a career in the mental health field.
