McCormick completes UW-Madison Graduate School of Banking

MONROE — First National Bank and Trust (FNBT), recently announced that Keith McCormick has recently graduated from the Graduate School of Banking (GSB) at the University of Wisconsin — Madison. He also received a Certificate of Executive Leadership from the Wisconsin School of Business Center for Professional and Executive Development.

The Graduate School of Banking was established in 1945 and focuses on the management of strategic issues faced by banking executives and financial services industry professionals. Instruction takes place during two week resident sessions for three summers, along with extensive study between sessions.

As Vice President Commercial Banking Officer, Keith manages existing agricultural and commercial customers while developing new business relationships and providing sound advice for customers seeking commercial loans. He started his banking career with FNBT in August 2010 as a commercial banking trainee, and moved to the Monroe Branch in 2011 as a commercial banker where he honed his skills in commercial banking operations and credit risk while completing various projects within his department. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance and also holds a Credit Risk Certification (CRC) from the Risk Management Association. 

In his free time, Keith volunteers with Green County’s Habitat for Humanity where he has been a board member since 2013 and serves as the current Treasurer. Additionally, Keith regularly volunteers during the Green County Cheese Days Festival.
