ALBANY - The Albany School District math team placed first at the Six Rivers Math meet, with Juda High School placing second and Blackhawk High School placing third. The team was led by Jim Schwab.
There were over 230 competitors from local schools. A silver medal was awarded for a student who placed in the top 16, and a gold medal was awarded for a student who placed in the top eight.
Level one participants were: Brittany Janes; Hailey Stefanik; Hunter Overland; Kassi Huffman; Dominik Vine, silver medalist; Jacob Elmer, gold medalist; Lauren Blumer, gold medalist; Kelsey Hoesly, gold medalist; and Logan Ross, gold medalist.
Level two participants were: Sydnee Woyak; Allie Lent, silver medalist; Tyler Dahl, silver medalist; Marley Malkow; Emily Hauri, gold medalist; Morgan Huevelman, gold medalist; Dallas Edmondson; Mitchell Trow; and Logan Anderson, gold medalist.
Emily Hauri was honored with a trophy for the prize of the top scorer of the level two participants.
