The judge for this year’s Photography Contest is Brian Wolf, noted Hudson Valley photographer. Wolfe has spent over 30 years working at one of New York’s finest sculpture, custom prop and thermoforming shops. His work can be seen in the films Confessions of a Shopaholic, Bride Wars, Taking Chance, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Year One. His work on Broadway work includes The Addams Family, In the Heights, Ragtime, Shrek, Tale of Two Cities, Young Frankenstein, Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard, Cats, Spamalot, Into the Woods, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Finding Nemo, White Christmas, South Pacific, Wonderland, The Producers, Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular and many more.

Wolfe, who was born and raised in Newburgh, CT, is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Connecticut. He grew up taking photos with his own darkroom to process film. Switching to pursue his theater career instead after college, Wolfe ultimately returned to photography later in life. Whether it’s Hudson Valley landscapes, dance, fantasy, street photography or portraits, Wolfe has an eye for how to capture the region and its people in his unique way.
