The Stephenson County Fair Association is excited to bring the fair to Freeport on July 25-29, 2023. The Grandstand events will be Midwest Summer NationalTractor Pulls on Tuesday & Wednesday. Youth & Family Night with Scrambles and Tough Trucks is on Thursday. Friday night is Bulls & Barrels and the Demolition Derby is on Saturday!

We will be brimming with free activities that are sure to delight!

●  Mobile Dairy Classroom, a one-of-a-kind experiential dairy farm exhibit with a live cow and milking demonstrations.

●  Pretty Bird Paradise, an aviary tent with 100’s of parakeets that you can visit and feed.

●  Pie Eating Contest

●  Freeport Art Museum Painting Party

●  Beer, wine and cheese tasting event

●  Daily kid’s games such as sack races, water balloon toss, watermelon eating contest and more

●  S & R Dance presentations

●  Freeport Library story time and crafts

●  Burpee History Museum demonstration and an interactive dinosaur dig

●  German folk dancers

●  Free pony rides

●  Scavenger hunt through the barns and the fairgrounds

●  Shop local tent with many handmade vendors

●  Fire department activities, smoke house and obstacle course

●  Multiple demonstrations and classes

●  Face painting

●  Unique Food Competition

●  “Taste of Stephenson County”

●  Kiddie Tractor Pull

●  Daily live music from local favorites
