MONROE — Pleasant View Nursing Home celebrates National Nursing Home Week with a new tradition, Olympic Events. The events will begin at 2 p.m. on May 11.  

There are four teams competing representing their home units of Lane, Trail, View, and Way.

Events will be held outside of the nursing home in the front entrance area. Events include Swiss Ball Relay, Tug of War, and a Pie Eating Contest. Residents and families will be cheering for their favorite teams, and the public is encouraged to attend.  

Parking is available. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own chair.
