MONROE — Since 1992, New Glarus businessman Hans Lenzlinger has hosted a “Little Golf” and Grill to benefit SSM Health at Home’s hospice services in Monroe. During a time when hospice services were less available, Lenzlinger saw a need and rallied the area behind this great cause to keep hospice local and loved ones at home or in the community near family.
“This year we are celebrating our 30th year of “Little Golf” and Grill,” said Jane Sybers, Executive Director of Monroe Clinic & Hospital Foundation, a member of SSM Health. “What an exciting milestone to reach and it has inspired us to reflect back on those who have been impacted by hospice and look to the bright future as we continue to rally behind this cause.”
“Little Golf” and Grill Hospice Fundraiser is on Tuesday, June 14, at Swissland Miniature Golf, 700 Hwy 69 South, New Glarus. Mini golf begins at 4 p.m. and is followed by a grilled dinner at 6:30 p.m. under the tent at the Chalet Landhaus Inn, 801 Hwy 69 South, New Glarus. All are welcome to play miniature golf and enjoy the dinner and program immediately following or come and enjoy dinner only.
Tickets for the event can be purchased now through Friday, May 27. To reserve a spot or for more information, contact the Foundation Office at 608-324-1264.
