MONROE — The Green County Historical Society is seeking individuals interested in serving on its board of directors. 

The term of office is three years and each director is allowed to serve two terms before having to take a year off the of the board. After the year, they once again may apply to be on the board. The monthly meeting day and time are set once the new board is seated.

All interested parties are required to submit an application by June 13. All applications will be reviewed by society members June 20 at their annual meeting. Those selected to serve will be notified.
