BROOKLYN — The South Central Chapter of the Wisconsin Farmers Union invites those interested to an afternoon event at Winterfell Acres, located at W1912 Mortensen Road, Brooklyn. The event will be held Sunday, Sept. 25 from 2-4 p.m. 

Tour the farm, view the geothermal greenhouse and learn about strategies for climate resilient farming including adding solar and geothermal to your on-farm energy mix. Snacks and drinks provided and farm produce will be available for sale. 

The event is open to the general public.
