SOUTH WAYNE — The South Wayne community blood drive made quota at 44 pints May 30 with a visit from Red Cross to Marty’s Village Inn.

Forty-eight potential donors presented, eight were deferred and four gave doubles. 

Donors were: Dick Leuzinger, Candance Gross, Jim Mugee, Mary Hagen, Judy White, Jessica Roesch, SuAnn Newingham, Larry Burkhalter, Cheryl Dale, Grant Dale, Jack Hagen, Kenny Schultz, Sue Gerloff, Emily Zarling, Jessica Spinhirne, Connie Meier, Roberta Bell, Mary McKnight, Helen LaDow, Elaine Renken, Colette Wyttenback, Tom Wellnitz, Jackie Boss, David Renken, Carolyn Signer, Ed Ernst, Carol Ruegsegger, John Ganshirt, Janice Payne, Deb Wolff, Cathy Cernek, Barbara Alexander, Jillene Meier, Monica Koch, Gary Miller, Dave Jackson, Cynthia Jackson, Richard Fernstaedt, Joan Jenson, Lonnie Stauffer, Kenny Schmitz, Della Hathaway, Steven Bechtolt, Donna Wyss, Chuck Wick, Karen Signer, Rachel Hagen and Skyler Schultz.

Donating to the pantry were: Valley View Cheese, cheese; Swiss Colony, sweets; South Wayne Mart, milk; Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, sandwiches; Joyce Paulson, sandwiches; Susie Junk, cookies; and Connie Meier, bars, sausage, crackers and coffee. 

Helping at the drive were, Terri Nipple, Loretta Brummel, Paulson, Junk and Meier.
