MONROE - The Monroe Public Library will host a Take Your Child to the Library Day celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The event is an annual nation-wide event designed to encourage parents and caregivers to bring children to the library on a regular basis and is open to the public.
Parents and children over the age of 3 can sign up for their own library card to use all the resources the library has to offer. Children can create their own bookmark, celebrate with special stickers and enter a drawing to win a free book.
There is no pre-registration required for the free program.
For more information, contact the library at 608-328-7010.
