JANESVILLE — A job fair is planned from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 12 at the Rock County Job Center, 1900 Center Ave., Janesville. As of Aug. 24, a total of 57 employers had registered to participate, offering a combined total of over 1,725 job openings.  

Those planning to attend are encouraged to research employers prior to the event, complete online applications, dress appropriately for the event and bring their resumés. Anyone needing help creating or editing their resumé or creating one can come to the Job Center Resource Room. At the event, job-seekers are encouraged to prepare to meet in-person with hiring representatives.
