JANESVILLE: German Interest Group meets Oct. 5

JANESVILLE - The German Interest Group will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2921 Mt. Zion Ave., Janesville. Craig Pfannkuche, a retired American history teacher and past president of the Chicago and McHenry County Genealogical Societies, will present "Dealing with Bad Guys in One's Family Tree." Uncovering his family's secret about multiple murders committed by his ancestors, Pfannkuche suggests ways of revealing these stories to interested descendants. Visitors are welcome.
