MONROE - In helping the local Green County Interchurch Food Pantry meet the increased demands and need for food over the holidays, Crossroads Community Church is challenging its members to fill a 20-foot trailer with food. The hope is to supply the food pantry with enough food boxes to help get them through the Thanksgiving holiday rush.

Crossroads Community Church will also be holding a Service Project day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 22, to help clean up and remodel the county food pantry.

This event is open to anyone in the community who would like to come out and help.
