Marian Augsburger (in the dark dress in the back row) was the teacher in this photograph taken of her with her pupils at the Green Valley School in Cadiz Township. 

She taught at the school from 1935 to 1940 as an unmarried woman and then one more year as Marian Bidlingmaier. This photograph dates from 1937 and the names of the students are unknown. Marian’s husband, Alvin Bidlingmaier, purchased it for $177.50 and the building was converted into a home that is still occupied today.
