GREEN COUNTY — The Green County Ag Chest has canceled the Green County Breakfast on the Farm that was rescheduled for Sept. 5 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They are committed to the annual breakfast and planning for it to return May 29, 2021.

The group sent out a press release saying that the safety of the community, supporters and workers is its priority.

The Green County Ag Chest provides scholarships to Green County youth; promotes the Green County Dairy Queen program; donates funds to local FFA chapters for state and national conventions and competitions, support local 4-H clubs with awards, incentives and opportunities and emphasizes the agricultural products produced through ice cream, cream puff and cheese sales with their mobile units.

The group is hoping for continued support this year to continue its mission.
