MONROE - National 4-H Week is taking place this week through Saturday, and Green County 4-H uses National 4-H Week to celebrate what the 4-H youth development program offers young people and highlights the 4-H young people who work each day to make a positive impact on their community.
Green County 4-H will be celebrating 4-H Week in many fashions. Window displays put on by local 4-H clubs will be up around the area.
Green County 4-H has 18 4-H clubs across the county, involving more than 600 4-H members and 250 volunteers. The program is open to all youth and adults regardless of their race, ethnicity, religion, ability or gender.
Enrollment season has begun.
