FREEPORT - A "Stage Door Canteen" fundraising event for the All Veterans' Memorial Park of Stephenson County will be held from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Masonic Temple in Freeport. This event is being held to raise money needed to complete additional walls to recognize all veterans from Stephenson County.
There will be live entertainment, a buffet full of canteen style food, music for dancing, a silent auction, live auction, "celebrities" and other surprises.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.
Donations are still being accepted for the auctions.
