MONROE - A special "Friendship Sunday" service will be held at the 9 a.m. service Oct. 9 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1724 14th St., Monroe.
The event will celebrate friendship, community and fellowship. Attendees can bring a friend, relative, neighbor or anyone to share in the celebration featuring a music program, a special message of friendship and community and a fellowship afterward that includes snacks.
