MONROE — Yard waste drop off for City of Monroe residents opened on Monday, April 8 at the Streets Division, 1064 5th Avenue.  It will be open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be no attendant on site.

Yard waste drop off rules are as follows:

1. Bags/Boxes must be emptied onto the yard waste pile and then placed into the barrels

2. No Garbage

3. No Lumber

4. No Metal

5. No Furniture/Items Containing Freon

6. No Tires

7. No Plastic Pots or Containers
