ALBANY - The Albany Historical Society will hold its October general meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Albany Historical Museum, 119 N. Water St.
After a short business meeting, P. J. Francis will present the program "Pioneers of Aviation." Francis is a member of the Albany Historical Society and is the owner and editor of the "Albany Hometown Herald." He grew up in Ireland, came to the United States, became a U.S. citizen and is active in local activities. He has a history of being involved with motorcycles, cars and planes.
The meeting and program are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
