MONROE — On behalf of the late Gage Noble, and his friends Anya Teasdale and Joe Wyss, The Gage Noble Foundation has donated $1,300 to the Green County Humane Society.

Noble’s love for animals, particularly dogs, is what motivated the family to donate to the Green County Humane Society. Funds for the donation were raised by a silent auction, cash donations and t-shirt sales.

The auction was made possible through Woodford State Bank in Monroe, along with numerous other businesses and individuals who donated auction items. The t-shirts, which read “Kayaking for Kritters,” were meant to commemorate a friend- and family-filled kayaking trip held on the Wisconsin River.

The Gage Noble Foundation is grateful to Val at Woodford State Bank for all of her work on setting up the silent auction, friend Sabrina Schroeder for all of the time and effort and to all of the businesses and individuals that donated to the silent auction.

The Gage Noble Foundation hopes to continue raising money for the Green County Humane Society as well as other animal rescue organizations.
