Howard and Peggy Marklein, Spring Green, and Tim and Camille (Kraemer) Murphy of Jerome, Idaho, announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Marklein to Luke Bacher. Bacher is the son of Bill and Gina Bacher of Monroe.
The bride-to-be, a graduate of Whitewater High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is currently in her third year of law school at the University of Wisconsin. Upon graduation, she will be employed as an attorney with Cross, Jenks, Mercer and Maffei in Baraboo.
The future groom, a graduate of Monroe High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is employed as a legislative aide to State Representative Brett Davis at the State Capitol in Madison.
The couple currently reside in Middleton.
An April 25, 2009 wedding is planned.
