Doug and Sherri Hawkins, Monroe, announce the engagement of their daughter, Diane Hawkins, to Grayson Gilbert, son of Greg Gilbert, Superior, and Ken and Jessica Hansen, Eau Claire.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Monroe High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. In 2009, she received her master of arts in education from Edgewood College. The future bride is currently employed at the UW-Stevens Point as an associate lecturer in the school of physical education and athletic training. She also serves as the assistant women's basketball coach.
The groom-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Eau Claire North High School and 2005 graduate of UW-Eau Claire. In 2009, the future groom received his MBA from UW-Eau Claire. He is currently employed by Sentry Insurance, Stevens Point, as a senior claims representative.
A July wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church of Stevens Point.
