MONROE — In 2018, opioids contributed to 78% of drug-related deaths in Wisconsin, which ranked among the top states for overdose-related ER visits from 2016 to 2017, according to UW-Madison Extension. Now with fentanyl flooding the market, over the last five years, opioid overdoses have increased 62%, per a report from Wisconsin Watch.
