MONROE — The Green County Leaders program announced the launch of Open Doors Green County, a tourism- based project. Led by emerging community leaders Jennie Lembach, Emily McGee, Christine Ceroni, Noah Steiner and Hannah Sprouse, the May 18-19 event invites the public to explore the county’s hidden gems.
Open Doors Green County is about discovering the rich tapestry of the community. From charming farms to historic sites, local food and beverage producers, and non-profits making a difference, this event showcases the heart and soul of Green County.
Participating organizations will open their doors wide, offering behind-the-scenes tours and insights. Maps of locations will be made available soon.
Green County Leaders members believe that understanding the community’s assets brings its residents closer together by celebrating what makes Green County special — its people, places, and traditions.
