MONROE - A fundraising dinner, dance and auction will be held at 5 p.m. April 2 at Turner Hall in Monroe.
Dancing will start at 6 p.m. The menu will include roast pork and chicken, potato, vegetable, salad, rolls and dessert. A live and silent auction will be held throughout the evening. Zweifel Brothers Band will begin playing at 6 p.m.
The cost is $40 per person for both the dinner and dance.
Proceeds from the event will go toward the Green County Veterans Memorial Park and the painting of the recently acquired Huey Helicopter. The public is invited.
Tickets may be purchased at the Behring Senior Center, Monroe; Woodford State Bank, Monroe; and all branches of Sugar River Banks.
