MONROE — The Democratic Party of Green County will be meeting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 11 at Leisure Lanes, 2308 6th Ave., Monroe, with a social and dining beginning at 5 p.m. 

Guest speaker will be Cindy Blanc, Jefferson Township resident, speaking about the industrial wind project proposed for this township. This is open to the public.
