FAYETTE, Iowa - Upper Iowa University announced the names of its June 2013 graduates.
Valerie Coplien, Monroe, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science in accounting. Jamie Gould, Darlington, graduated with a bachelor of science in accounting. Eric Kundert, Brodhead, graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor of science in criminal justice. Ann Leonard, New Glarus, graduated with a master of business administration with a quality management emphasis.
Summa cum laude is awarded to those with a 3.8 to 4.0 GPA; magna cum laude is awarded to those with a 3. 6 to 3.79 GPA; and cum laude is awarded to those with a 3.3 to 3.59 GPA.
