KENOSHA — Donald Chell from Belleville was named to the Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside for the Fall 2018 semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average. 


UW-La Crosse

LA CROSSE — The following area students completed degree requirements at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in December. 

Belleville: Molly Kaschub, master of science in education, reading; Kelsey Schmit, certificate, educational leadership

Blanchardville: Adria Braley, bachelor of science, spanish education major

New Glarus: Ja-ae Borth, bachelor of science, sociology major;  Sierra Watrud, bachelor of science, exercise and sport science major


University of Nebraska-Lincoln

LINCOLN, Nebraska — Kate Krebs of Monticello has been named to the Deans’ List/Explore Center List of Distinguished Students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year.

Krebs, a freshman grazing livestock systems major, was named to the Dean’s List for the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

All qualifying grade-point averages are based on a four-point scale and a minimum of 12 graded semester hours. 


University of Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa —  Nicole Thiher, a native of Browntown, received a MS-Chemical and Biochemical Engineering degree from the University of Iowa at the close of the fall 2018 semester.
