Browntown: Logo design contest for Cadiz Springs rec area

BROWNTOWN - Entries are now being accepted for the Browntown Cadiz Springs State Recreation Area Logo Contest by the Friends of Cadiz Springs. The contest is open to kindergarten through 12th grade students in Wisconsin. The design will be used to promote the Browntown Cadiz Springs State Recreation Area.

An award of $100 will be given to the individual with the winning design, along with promotional items like a sweatshirt, T-shirt and a ball cap, with the new logo on each item.

Entry forms will be available at area schools, on line (will update as it becomes available) and at the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Industry office. All entries must be mounted on an 8 1/2 x 11-inch white paper or poster board. Do not laminate the design. Each entry must be securely wrapped and mailed to: Friends of Cadiz Springs State Recreation Area - Logo Design Contest, C/O Jeanne Hermanson, P.O. Box 36, Browntown, WI. 53522.

Entries must be received no later than Jan. 31.
