BRODHEAD - Maker Fun Factory Vacation Bible School will be held from 12:30 to 5 p.m. June 19 to 23 at the United Methodist Church of Brodhead. Online registration is now open.
Maker Fun Factory is designed to be filled with Bible-learning experiences that kids can see, hear, touch and taste. Sciency-Fun Gizmos, team-building games, Bible songs and tasty treats are just a few of the activities that help faith flow into real life. Children will also participate in a hands-on mission project and support the Brodhead Police Department K-9 Program. Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy: Children should arrive in play clothes and be wearing safe shoes.
Donations will be accepted every day for the program. A bus from Albrecht Elementary School and lunch will be provided.
Register at www.brodheadumc.org or on Facebook-United Methodist Church of Brodhead in the space for "Tickets." Put the word "bus" in the comment section if the child will be riding the bus from summer school. All children ages 3 through incoming fifth-grade students should register as participants. Students going into sixth grade or older are welcome to help and can register on the same site as a volunteer.
