MONROE - Big Brothers Big Sisters announces it's first Tour de Cheese Bike Ride on Saturday, Oct. 3. The ride celebrates cheese making in Green County.
The 60-mile route includes Maple Leaf, Grande, and Chalet cheese co-ops. It runs through Juda, Albany and Monticello. Riders may also choose a 15- or 30-mile route.
Routes begin on Spring Square with Chili Fest activities. Riders are registering at EarthRiderCycling.com or calling 325-7855 for a registration blank.
Adults who register before Sept. 20, are $35. Those under 18 ride free with a registered parent or guardian.
