BRODHEAD - Tessa Kloepping and Oni Williams will be visiting local nursing homes/retirement complexes in Brodhead, Albany, Orfordville and Footville on Christmas Eve. They will be delivering Christmas cheer in the form of a small gift for each resident. Kloepping and Williams are taking this project over from Kloepping's sister Erin and friend Sarah Strathman, who have done this project for the past eight years.

This year they are raising funds at a bake sale/craft sale on Saturday at the Bank of Brodhead from 8 a.m. until noon. The funds from the bake sale will be used to buy gifts for the residents and any items needed for each center, such as DVDs, games and reading materials. They plan to visit Woods Crossing, Collinwood in Brodhead, Orfordville and Albany, Caring Hands, Brodview Manor and St. Elizabeth's Manor in Footville.

People can help by baking items for the bake sale, including cookies, muffins, cakes, pie or snack mixes. Baked goods may be dropped off at any time the morning of the sale. Please contact Amanda Kloepping at Kloepping_a@sccompanies.com to make special arrangements for drop-off. Monetary donations may be mailed to: Tess Kloepping, W268 State Highway 81, Brodhead, WI 53520. Support of this project is greatly appreciated.
