ARGYLE — The Argyle American Legion Auxiliary Unit 251 is asking for help for their annual Veterans Hospital Christmas Drive. A list of needs follows.

For Men: Sweatpants L, XL and XXL, white underwear, S through XL, gloves and knitted hats. 

For Women: Sweatshirts, sweatpants, scarves, gloves and knitted hats.

Therapeutic: Paint-by-numbers, paint-with-brush sets, activity books (large print), plastic model kits (car, boat, airplane and military- no metal), model paint, paint pods and glue, crosswords, word searches, sudoku, adult coloring books, crayons and colored pencils.

Bedding: Quilts — stitched or tied, 4x6, afghans, bed-size, 4x6 and fleece blankets.

Personal Care: Individually packaged toothbrushes, small toothpaste, chapstick, nail files and clippers, pocket-size tissues, shampoo, bodywash and lotion. 

Snack Items: Individually wrapped crackers, small bags of peanuts, individual Pringles packs, etc. 

Miscellaneous: Forever postage stamps, plain note cards, veterans cards, greeting cards, paperback books and westerns.

Take items to the Argyle Community Building kitchen by Friday, Nov. 29. No used clothing, please.
