MONROE - Green County Cheese Days is seeking an ambassador for the 2012 festival. Applicants must be between 19 and 27 years as of Jan. 1, 2012.
Official duties of the Cheese Days ambassador begin in November, and include speaking engagements, television and radio interviews, and parade appearances.
In addition to invaluable experiences in marketing and public relations, the compensation package for the ambassador includes a savings bond, Monroe Money, official portrait, and other gifts. Costumes are provided, and mileage for appearances is reimbursed.
