Sherman and Gayle (Fingerson) Johnson celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary recently. They were married on Sept. 14, 1946, in Bethel Lutheran Church, Madison.

They have six children: Connie (Rodger), Albuquerque, N.M.; Mary (Tom), Wild Rose; Ralph (Margie), South Wayne; Bob (Joan), Barneveld; Richard (Laurie), Wiota; and Mark, Darlington. They also have 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. They are planning a family gathering at their home in Wiota.
