Herb and Barb Chapman, Footville, plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 10.
The couple was married in St. Patrick's Church in Benton. They farmed in Darlington before moving to Brodhead, where they farmed for 35 years. Retired from farming, the couple now lives in Footville.
Their children are Robert (Terri) Chapman, Brodhead; Mary (Larry) Kloepping, Juda; and Lori (Dan) Moore, Monroe. They have six grandchildren.
An open house celebration will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 12 at the Red Flame Banquet Hall, 2107 1st Center Ave., Brodhead. The couple requests that gifts be omitted.
