Orville and Margie Bondele of Gratiot will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Aug. 14 at Marty's Village Inn in South Wayne. Orville Bondele and Margie Metz were married July 3, 1966 in Cedarville, Illinois. The minister was Howard T. Leach, the best man was Arleigh Bondele and the maid of honor was Wanda Wiegel.

The couple have two sons, Rodney (Penny) Bondele and Shawn (Debra) Bondele, a grandson, Jacob, and two granddaughters, Allison and Kristina.

All friends and relatives are invited to the anniversary celebration; no formal invitations will be sent.
