Who do you want as vice president?

To the editor:

With the presidential election in less than two weeks, here is a question to ask you. If our president would become incapacitated, who would we want to answer the "red phone" in the Oval Office - Vice President Joe Biden or Congressman Paul Ryan? If Paul Ryan answered the "red phone" with an Iranian emergency, how could we trust him with this serious issue when he can't tell the truth about his marathon running time?

Joe Biden has 36 years of experience in the Senate. During these years, Joe has focused largely on economics and foreign policy issues.

Also during the vice president debate, the vice president knew what he was talking about with foreign issues. The Congressman didn't have a clue about any foreign issue. Didn't the Congressman learn anything during his 12 years in Congress? Plus, Paul Ryan is a co-sponsor with Todd Akin (R-Mo.) for "No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act." This bill was introduced to the country as the bizarre term of "forcible rape." This bill makes the rape survivor, which includes statutory and incest rapes, to carry the baby to full term. According to Paul Ryan, the only time an abortion is not illegal is with a doctor's approval to save the mother's life. None of us can predict the future. Therefore, can't have a bill classifying every case equal to everyone's individual situation as an equal option. I agree with President Obama, this is not a man's decision to make, but is a woman's decision with her family's assistance.
