Mike Boehme has served this community for decades as a nurse practitioner for elderly patients of the Monroe Clinic. He has an innate ability to understand people's needs and deal with issues compassionately. A fellow taxpayer, he wants his tax dollar to earn a return in our school system and recognizes that our educational system is an investment in our children's future.
Having worked for the second largest employer in Green County, Mike has a unique perspective of the many jobs in our community which need entry level applicants with a variety of skill sets. With a bachelor's degree in business administration, a masters in educational psychology, and a masters in nursing, his educational background will be an invaluable asset to our school board.
Mike had three children who were educated at all levels of the Monroe School system. He has seen what works, and what needs improvement. Mike recognizes the need for educational rigor in our schools in order for our children to succeed in today's society. Mike Boehme will help us keep our eyes on the prize - student achievement.
