I don't get it. How can anyone still be considering voting for Scott Walker after what he has done to the people of Wisconsin?
His policies have hurt the poor, minorities, seniors, women, children, union members, and working families. The only people his policies seem to have helped are corporations and the extremely wealthy.
So why are Walker and Tom Barrett tied in the polls? Is it because he says he wants to help "hard-working taxpayers?" Well, I'm a hard-working taxpayer, and I don't see where any of Walker's policies are helping me.
There's more to financial wellbeing than simply paying less in taxes. If you lose your job and income, you don't have to pay any income taxes at all. But having no income doesn't make your life better. Neither does losing your access to health care, education for your kids, or your rights.
Wake up Wisconsin! Stop voting against your own best interests.
