To the editor,
June 5, 2012 is election day in Wisconsin. The big question is who to vote for: Tom Barrett or Scott Walker. Please think long and hard before casting your ballot.
Think of which candidate will best support your interests, the one who is supported by labor or the one supported by big corporations and ultra-rich individuals.
Think of the fact that for every $1 donated to Tom Barrett, more than $20 are donated to Scott Walker.
Think of where the money is coming from.
Think that an individual earning $50,000 per year would have to work 10 years to even gross as much as the $500,000 donated to Scott Walker by Diane Hendricks.
Think of the millions given to corporations by Scott Walker while cutting millions from education.
Think of what will happen to you and your children if corporate and individual greed is allowed to buy our legislators.
Then, ask yourself if the choice you're making is the best for the majority of your fellow citizens.
Then, cast your ballot for the one who will best represent the majority.
Then, rest assured that you voted in what may possible be the most important election in your lifetime.
