After reading the letter from the Barrys about Barack Obama's gun rights platform, I feel it a "must" to set the record straight. Obama either has voted for the following gun control ideas, or he has proposed them. These proposals are as follows:

1. Ban the use of firearms for home defense.

2. Pass federal laws eliminating the "right to carry" laws that are in use in 48 of our 50 states.

3. Ban handguns.

4. Close down 90 percent of all gun shops.

5. Ban rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting.

6. Increase federal taxes on guns and ammunition by 500 percent.

7. Restore voting rights for convicted felons who committed gun crimes.

8. Expand and re-implement the gun ban or semi-automatic sporting firearms.

9. Mandate a government-issued license to purchase a firearm.

10. Appoint anti-gun judges to the Supreme Court.

If anyone doesn't believe this information about Obama, I urge them to check out his voting record in Washington. It speaks for itself.
