On behalf of the Green County Humane Society, we would like to thank everyone who donated items for the recent garage sale and bake sale.
A special thank you to Sherri Fiduccia and the Monroe Auto Sales for letting us use her display room; two very special ladies that gave so much of time to set up and take down, Cheryl Beck and Millie McCabe; The Monroe Times, WEKZ and The Shopping News for all the publicity; and lastly, the Shriners of Monroe for their generous donation. Without all of you, none of this would have been possible.
The GCHS took in nearly $1,800, all of which goes to the shelter for the cats and dogs.
The dates for the Fall garage sale will be Oct. 1-3.
